last weekend i went to Kuala Lumpur for $120 - it was awesome

it was so good to get away from dhaka for a while.
this is ZIA international airport in dhaka on our way out of town... ongoing question: females? they're out there somewhere.

i was very excited to drink nice coffee drinks.

i was even more excited about these towers. really i went a little crazy over them. about a year ago i made a birthday cake for Dave in the shape of these things - 30th bday! the cake involved purple icing and nerds, and the experience brought about a love for the structural ingenuity of these buildings. i really wish we could've seen them together... but next time - inshallah.
Petronas Towers: world's tallest building from '96-'03, when TaiPei 101 stepped in. Malaysians love these gals

KL felt like china in so many ways. here is a market scene... lots of knock-offs

we spent a good amount of time enjoying nightlife. this place was appropriately named Rum Jungle. there was an african band, and a tank full of baby sharks above the bar.

traveling with Jimmy, Jason, and Beckley (left to right).

hmm.
